Shipping Protection – WELLFIT

To provide a safer and more reliable shopping experience, WELLFIT has partnered with third-party providers for shipping and insurance services to offer shipping protection. By purchasing this insurance, you receive additional protection and can contact Xcotton (AIG Partner) directly in the event of a claim. Below are the detailed insurance conditions:

1. Scope of Coverage

After purchasing the insurance, your products are fully protected throughout the entire shipping process. The protection includes, but is not limited to:

Lost Products:
If your product is lost or stolen during transit (including “porch piracy”), you can file a claim in accordance with the insurance terms. If your package has not been marked as "delivered" within 30 days of shipment, it is considered lost. The claim must be reported within 90 days of the shipping date.

If the package is marked as "delivered" but you have not received it, it is also considered lost, provided sufficient evidence is presented (e.g., police report, confirmation from the delivery service, security evidence).

In these cases, compensation will be provided in the form of a replacement product or a refund, up to the original purchase value. The claim must be reported within 7 days of the "delivered" status.

Damaged Products:
If the product is damaged during transit, compensation will be provided through replacement or refund (up to the purchase value). Damages must be reported within 7 days of the delivery status.

Misdelivery by the Shipping Service Provider:
If the status shows "delivered" but the package was delivered to an incorrect address, please contact the shipping service provider first for correction. If costs arise for re-delivery, these will be covered by Xcotton. If the package cannot be found, the case will be treated as a loss. A reporting period of 7 days after "delivered" status also applies here.

Other Unforeseen Events:
In case of loss or damage due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, traffic accidents), settlement will be made according to the insurance conditions.

2. Purchasing the Insurance

You can select shipping insurance during the "Add to Cart" or "Checkout" process. The insurance fee will be automatically added to the total amount. The insurance is only valid for the order for which it was purchased.

3. Insurance Service & Claim Processing

After purchase, you will receive an insurance policy with a policy number, as well as Xcotton's contact details and the claims process.

Contact Xcotton (AIG Partner):
In case of loss or damage, please contact Xcotton to initiate the claim, providing your policy number.

Required Evidence:
Depending on the case, evidence such as shipping confirmation, photos of damaged products, or other documents may be required. Please refer to Xcotton's claims guidelines.

4. Declaration of Liability

After purchasing the insurance, Xcotton assumes responsibility for damages or losses during transit. WELLFIT merely provides the necessary information; claim processing is handled exclusively by Xcotton.

5. Insurance Conditions & Exclusions

The insurance conditions of Xcotton (AIG Partner) apply. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

In certain cases, no compensation may be provided, e.g., in case of false information or intentional damage. Please refer to Xcotton's terms for details.

6. Cancellation

If the order has not yet been shipped, the shipping insurance can be refunded via WELLFIT. Once shipped, cancellation of the insurance is no longer possible.

7. Important Notes

Ensure Correct Shipping Details:
Please ensure that your address and contact details are correct to avoid delivery problems and claim exclusions.

Prompt Inspection of Goods:
Please check your order immediately upon receipt. In case of damage, please contact support@xcottons.com immediately. If no response is received within 2 business days, please contact service.de@wellfittreadmill.com.

8. Exclusions of Shipping Insurance

Damages or losses due to the following are not covered:

  • War, civil war, revolution, insurrection or similar events

  • Confiscation, arrest or detention by authorities

  • Leftover war weapons (mines, bombs, etc.)

  • Strikes, riots or labor disputes

  • Terrorist acts or politically motivated violence

  • Incorrect or incomplete address details

  • Unshipped packages (e.g., "label created")

  • Seizure by authorities

  • Refused acceptance or returns without proof of damage

  • Incorrectly delivered products (model, color, size, etc.)

  • Pre-existing damages or material defects before shipment

Note: After successful compensation (replacement or refund), the insurance fee is non-refundable.
